Throughout my academic career, Math has been one of my strongest subjects. I’ve taken courses in Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Linear Algebra, Multivariable Calculus, and special courses in Logic and Abstract/Modular Thinking. Not only was I proficient in these courses, but I excelled in them. I received a 5 on the AP Exam for Calculus BC, finishing with one of the highest grades in the course. In addition, I have received a perfect 800 (highest possible score) on the Subject SAT for Mathematics II, which tests advanced math topics ranging from algebra, trigonometry, and pre-calculus. I have been a volunteer Peer Math Tutor at my high school in our Math Resource Center for 2 years, where I assist other students with homework and conceptual questions. Along with this tutoring experience, I have been a Private Math Tutor since last year in which I help students with homework questions, clear up conceptual questions, and prepare for exams.

In addition to Math, I am also proficient in Science. My passion for science has evolved throughout high school and lead to my chosen career path. I have taken 2 years of Chemistry: Honors Chemistry and AP Chemistry. My proficiency in Chemistry is reflected in my perfect score of 5 on the AP Exam, and a score of 790 on the Subject SAT for Chemistry. I have also taken AP Biology (my absolute favorite course of high school), and achieved a score of 5 on the AP Exam for Biology. I am currently enrolled in AP Physics I, where I excel in the classroom. Not only is my clear grasp of the sciences present, but my passion is also, and I look forward to assisting students with understanding topics/processes, critical thinking, attacking problems, and lab scenarios.

I am also eager to tutor students looking for assistance in reading and writing. In high school, I took two years of Advanced Honors English classes. I also completed AP English Language Arts and Composition, in which I received a score of 5 on the AP Exam. I am currently enrolled in AP English Literature and Composition, in which I continue to excel and thoroughly enjoy the class. Throughout my 4 years, I have developed an understanding of the proper and successful techniques in grammar, reading comprehension, creative writing, essay writing, and rhetorical analysis. I look forward to helping students develop these same skills and find success in the same ways I have through homework help, understanding of class material, and essay preparation.
